Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Academy
The Two-Way Bilingual Immersion (TWBI) Academy is a bilingual program offered to both Spanish-speaking and English –speaking students in which the students learn how to read, write, and speak in both English and Spanish.
Our students become fluent and literate in two of the world’s most widely spoken languages. They meet or exceed district norms in reading, mathematics and language development in both Spanish and English. Our students have proven their academic ability; many have qualified as GATE students based on their high test scores on the California Standards Test (CST).
They gain self-esteem and an appreciation for their community through an enriched, positive learning environment that fosters cultural exchange and celebrates diversity. The social interaction between students is a joy to behold. They truly learn from one another, developing high levels of confidence and self esteem through their study of two languages. Learning comes alive as the beauty of both languages is explored through literature, song, and dance.

Academia Bilingüe de Dos Vías
En la Academia Bilingüe de Dos Vías los alumnos aprenden a leer, escribir, y hablar en ambos idiomas, ingles e español, se ofrece este programa a los alumnos que hablan ingles o español. Es un programa “Bilingüe Adicional,” lo cual significa que todos los alumnos aprenden un segundo idioma sin comprometer el idioma natal.
Nuestros alumnos se hacen fluentes y aprenden a leer y a escribir en español e ingles, dos de los idiomas has hablados en el mundo. Los estudiantes satisfacen o exceden las normas del distrito en el desarrollo de ambos idiomas en lectura, matemáticas, y lenguaje. Nuestros alumnos han dado prueba de sus habilidades académicas, muchos has clasificado para el programa de alumnos GATE (clases para alumnos sobresalientes en diversas materias académicas) a través de los resultados altos en el examen estatal de California (CST).
Adquieren autoestima y una apreciación para la comunidad a través de aprendizaje positivo y enriquecido en una ambiente que fomenta cambio cultural y celebra diversidad. La interacción social entre alumnos es un placer de desarrollar. A través del estudio de los idiomas, los alumnos verdaderamente aprenden el uno del otro así desarrollando niveles altos de confianza y autoestima. El aprendizaje cobra vida cuando se explora la belleza de dos idiomas a través de literatura, canción, y baile.

A través de un modelo basado en los últimos hallazgos lingüísticos e investigaciones de intelecto, proveeremos a nuestros alumnos las habilidades necesarias académicas y sociales para que a si se conviertan en lideres del mundo lingüístico.
