Hawthorne Hawks PTO

Welcome to the Hawthorne Hawks PTO page!  

The Hawthorne Hawks Parent Teacher Organization consists of parents, guardians, or other adults that represents students attending Hawthorne Middle School.   In addition, the principal and any teacher employed at HMS may also be a member.  All members shall have voting rights. Our objective is to raise funds for and to plan events that will enhance the experience of all students and staff at the School and to act as liason between the school and the community as directly approved by its members.

PTO meetings will be open to all members and held in the computer lab the first Monday of the month. The dates are listed on the HMS Calendar unless a special meeting is called. 

We encourage you to join us and become active partners in the education of our children and students! Our meetings will give you a chance to learn more about our organization as well as share your ideas with other involved parents.
 

Currently, PTO has been selling Big Sticks,collecting Box Tops and recycling. You may support us by buying popsicles after school on Fridays for $1, bringing in any Box Tops collected off products to your Period 1 teacher, as well as bringing in cans and bottles for recycling.

Membership committees may consist of members and board members, with the president acting as an ex-officio member of all committees.
